How to access care

You do not need an appointment for routine outpatient visits. Follow these simple steps when you arrive at your campus health centre.

1
Go to reception

Visit the health centre during opening hours. Tell reception you need care or you are a new patient.

2
Register or check in

New patients complete a short registration. Returning patients give your name or patient number for check-in.

3
Triage and consultation

A nurse records your vitals. You are then seen by a clinician based on your needs and the visit queue.

4
Treatment and follow-up

You may receive lab tests, medication from pharmacy, a referral, or advice to return for follow-up.

New patient onboarding

First time at MUBS Health Centre? Registration takes a few minutes at reception.

  • A valid national ID, passport, or student ID
  • Student number or staff ID (if applicable)
  • Next of kin contact details for students
  • Any previous medical records or prescriptions you have
Returning patients

Already registered? Simply check in at reception with your patient number or full name.

What happens next:

  • Your file is opened and linked to today's visit
  • Nursing staff may update your vitals in triage
  • You join the queue for the doctor or service you need
  • Lab, pharmacy, and imaging are available on site when ordered
